Class Meeting on Friday, Oct 14, 2011

REMINDER.
Don't forget to turn in the class meeting agenda for the Friday's meeting.

-Spirit Week (Blue & Treasure Hunt)
Seniors talk to the class about bringing in blue food (cookies, sodas, etc. ) to sell at the school store. This is very important.
-Spoons/Forks
-Basketball Court Work Day Cancellation (explain briefly about this)

Please be very careful about the way you present the situation with the sports court. The way you present it will be infectious and directly impact each person who hears it. There has been a meeting and it is supposed to be done before the season starts. Students will not be helping with cement work, but they hopefully will be helping with painting at a later date. Help people to get excited that we are actually getting the court fixed! Try not to focus on the fact that it didn't turn out like we thought. The school is finding the money to make it happen, which is awesome.

If you have happened to pass on anything to anyone that would make BAIS look bad in this, I would encourage you to go back to them and let them know that it's going to happen. It's easy to get negative and frustrated and to go vent to friends, parents, etc. Part of our role as leaders is to use discretion in what we say (consider the person who is listening and how they might be affected by your words). I'm not saying anyone has done that, but just wanting to make sure that we continue to be representatives/leaders of integrity.
